He directed the supernatural horror film "The Orphanage" (2007), the disaster drama "The Impossible" (2012), the fantasy drama "A Monster Calls" (2016), and the science fiction adventure film "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" (2018), the fifth installment of the "Jurassic Park" series.
