The first film I saw by Pasolini was ACCATTONE. I saw it at the New York Film Festival in I think '63, '64. And it had an enormous impact on me. The way the characters moved, the stillness. I mean, it was almost like it was choreographed for the film. But, at the same time, the realism was just overwhelming.
