Cinematic DNA
It depicts the consumerism of American society, and it’s a horror film, but it also has amazing social commentary about consumerism, capitalism, and materialism. It was really a shock to me, that you could tell a story with those genre elements but also have such a sharp social critique. So it’s a film that I constantly revisit, it’s one of my favorites, and a film that gave me a lot of inspiration.
