Synopsis
The true story of Henry Hill, a half-Irish, half-Sicilian Brooklyn kid who is adopted by neighbourhood gangsters at an early age and climbs the ranks of a Mafia family under the guidance of Jimmy Conway.
Cinematic DNA
We looked at Goodfellas (1990) a lot, it was a bible for us in terms of pace and the use of voice-over. It’s hard not to be influenced by Scorsese because he’s one of the greatest directors, especially when you’re doing a gangster movie.
